Scalemaster® SM2 Non-Acid De-Scaler Bottle – 500ml Bottle
SM2 is designed for use in established central heating systems, specifically targeting hard water areas.
It effectively restores and maintains heat exchanger efficiency while addressing boiler noise caused by limescale precipitation on heat exchanger surfaces.
The 500ml bottle is suitable for treating up to a 100-liter (10 radiator) system at a 0.5% solution and is compatible with aluminum.
No issues arise from overdosing or mixing with other Scalemaster products.
To prevent issues like ‘kettling’ and boiler noise, it’s recommended to check first if the noise isn’t due to system design or mechanical faults before applying SM2.
For enhanced performance, use SM2 in conjunction with Scalemaster SM1 Corrosion Inhibitor.
